I have a F2 sidecar with a K7 600 cc engine in it.

I know I can put a k8 in it no problem only changing the electrics.

But my question is can I put a 2011 or 12 engine in my chassis ie are the mountings the same.

I use modified sumps and airbox and different tank the only thing am interested in is the mountings on the engine.

Please help

I don't know if the L1 engine cases and mounting holes are the same, but they did rotate the engine back a few degrees in the L1 frame. This allowed them to move the head stock back 15 mm (keeping the swingarm length the same) for a shorter wheel base. This doesn't answer your question though.
