Ok guys,
I need some help on a big decision. I have a 97 600 and I'm right in the middle of the 750 swap. My question to you guys is should I finish doing the FI conversion also or should I buy a set of carbs and jet it , and run with that? I still need to buy a tank and pump, guages, front wiring harness, and airbox. From what I read my 600 carbs will work on the 750 motor with rejetting and the rest of the stuff is the same. Would I see a big horepower difference between the carbed and FI motor?
Please help!!!
I'm running out of money and it's almost time to ride again.
Thanks,
Ken

I just put on 750 carbs and used the entire 600 electrical system, I'd try the 600 carbs, tank, airbox and exhaust (I understand the FI needs a FI fuel pump and maybe a black box+wiring harness too much hassel for very little if any power) and get it going.

i swapped out a 600 for a 750 also. but the 750 isnt fi. a friend of mine has a fi 750 and we run even. i havent even tuned mine right yet, so i would go with the carbs... its a lot cheaper IMHO.
