: Front tire recommendations '99 600 Sid Vicious 02-10-2002, 06:08 PM Need to change the front tire on my '99 600 gixxer. Mainly use it for commuting on interstates and occasional weekend rides. A dealer recommended 120/70-117 Battlax BT-020. I'm not a very aggressive rider. Are there other tires I should look at? Appreciate suggestions from y'all gixxer gurus. I have Macadam 100X...great mileage...stick to the groud well...even though not as good as the high performance tire... I need the grip, but a sports rear will wear out in like 3 months with my 90km daily commute. So no choice there but a sports-touring rear. Plus, I hear a lot of good things about these new Bridgestones (both 010 & 020) especially about their wet weather performance. Another combo option would be an MEZ-3 front with an MEZ-4 rear. | ||
