Hi guys, I was wondering if you knew how I can go on line wit my PDA and my Nokia 6310i. I have paired the devices, set up Bluetooth so that when I hit connect on the PDA it connects with the phone, then the phone dials but I don't know whicj number to dial is it something that my ISP needs to give me.
Cheers guys

Does your phone has data service? There are 2 ways to get connected with the internet. "Dial" the phone like a standard phome and use it as a "modem", but this is slow...the other way is if your phone has data service, you connect via that service and the ipaq sends/receives data via the bluethooth. Every carrier is different, but usually there is a "special" number it needs to dial to do the data.

You need to get those from your provider (cell company). On verizon i think it's #777, and on Sprint it's some 4 digit number ( i think... but not sure). Call them up and ask what's the number for data connections...

not advertising... but go check out howardforums.com
There are forums for every major phone manufacturer, and every major (US) carrier. Almost all of them have FAQ's on how to setup whatever your needs are, however you may need to do a little searching.
I have a 2210 connected to my sony ericsson Z600, and am using the GPRS data service with it (also have the phone and laptop paired via BT so I can use my laptop on the net from anywhere) and yes, I am a GEEK http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
