I have a 7/11 with 36mm mikuni carbs. I seem to be experiencing a rotating cylinder not firing.

I pull the plug on the dead cylinder, clean and re install. fire the bike up all cyl fire normally. I then let it sit to cool down fire it up and another cylinder won't fire. I then clean and re install and cylinder fires.

The whole process them seems to repeat itself.

I have had the carbs off and cleaned. Bike idles fine or so it seems. I have checked for vacuum leaks and found none. I have fresh gas.

Any ideas? Could the pilot screws be to rich?

No, One time it happens on cyl 4 next it could be cyl 3. I have brand new coils installed.

Yes could be pilots.

Was it after you cleaned the carbs that the problem started, or were they cleaned in an attempt to rectify it?

How many turns out on the mixture screws?

Pilot screws are out 2 1/2 turns.

I bought the carbs cleaned them then installed. OP had no idea if they were off a working bike or not.
