:ohmy wow, actually, I can now understand the mixup. Hes got 12 other rare vintage motorcycles up for auction. An amazing lineup! Not sure if its smart to end them all on the same day at the same hour, but what the hell do I know. :dunno

Limited Editions Just dont do it for me. I mean, I kind of like the paint style. But its not my favorite. Also dry clutch thing and finding those are a bitch. Being they didnt make a 1100 I would nt buy one. But if there was a 1100 that would be a site to see. Maybe I should build one? A blue and white version look a like.

wow he just listed an RG500 and a yamaha TZ700!:ohmy

heres the RG which apparently was a professionally raced bike..

heres an excerpt..
This Suzuki RG500 has some interesting history – raced by Trevor Nation in the 1986 TT. From RealRoadRacing.Com: "The Senior Race was even more exciting, and so nearly provided the highlight of Trevor's racing career. He took the RG500 Suzuki into the lead by Ballaugh on the first lap after early leader Steve Cull retired, and soon overtook Joey Dunlop on the road on his way to a cracking lap of 116.55mph. Joey emerged from the lap 2 pit stops just ahead on the road, but Trevor soon passed him again to lead Roger Marshall by a slender 2 seconds in the race. A great dice on the roads between Trevor and Joey then followed during laps 3 and 4, but as Trevor pulled away he appeared to be in command, leading the race by 13 seconds, when disaster struck. At the 32nd Milestone on lap 4 the bike suddenly expired, apparently out of fuel and Trevor could only look on in despair as Roger Burnett took advantage of problems for Marshall and Dunlop to take the win."

Sweet Jesus. Nice bike. I think I'd want the front-end alone, just to use in conjunction with a special build.

the RC30 is high on my wish list,,i've always wanted one,,,i had an 86 LE back in 86 and sold it after racing it on and off for 2 years,,,it was mint and i sold it for $3000.00,,man i wish i could go back in time,,,i'll be watching that LE for sure,,,if i could get it would complete my collection of the most collectible suzuki sportbikes,,,,but that RC30,,,would be the ultimate dream,,,i'd even consider getting rid of one of my RR's for it,,,unfortunately it's only dreams,,LOL,,,someday...

It would appear Bar Hodgson is thinning his collection maybe? One of the ONLY guys that would have a collection like that.

I think you are right. the driveway is very similar. Look at that little low red trim boarder along the edge of the driveway. its identical.

The ebay seller says hes listing the bikes for a friend. I wonder if he gets to pick out a bike or two in return of the favor. :cool

Hi guys, just letting you know that Bar is selling over 100 bikes in the near future through a third party. The bike on ebay now used to be mine until I sold it to him in 1999. Anyone have a 1989 for sale?

im fighting off the urge to go look at it otherwise i'll be tempted to buy it! I simply have no more garage space. Im trying to convince my cousin to buy it so i can look at it and ride it from time to time. :biggrin The guy was asking 2999 2 weeks ago.
