They're made to be ridden not looked at in a garage so not at all.

what's the primary use of the bike(commute, leisure, etc.) that you put so many miles on it already?

I'm gonna take a guess and say that you've never done a track day?:dunno
I was like that too man, when I got my very first bike (07 CBR600RR) I was on that thing every chance I got. I had 19k miles in just a little over 2 years put on that thing. After I did my first track day, my bike got turned into a garage trophy. After you get bit by the track bug, riding street becomes boring (to me anyways) The last two bikes (08 CBR1k and 09 CBR600) didn't get more than 1700 miles put on them. If it wasn't on the track, it was in the garage. I do however have put a little over 700 miles on my new 750 in just about 2 months. Now that its broken in, time for a track day!

There are tons on really nice mountain roads in GA to ride that I used to do almost every weekend. There's blood mountian which is a very popular stretch of road and not to mention it leads straight to deals gap (same road- hwy 129) which I'm sure you've heard of (if you didn't then you really need to google it). Also when you get up in the N. GA mountains your so close to some of the best roads in NC and SC. I've done a lot of 400-500 mile days and covered all three states in a single trip. Roads locally are boring but once you hit the Mountains its curves all day long which I'm only 60 miles away from.

We had great roads here in GA but I'm not gonna shoot up and down the mountain at 100+ mph. Thats an itch only a track can cure. People do it all the time down here but I've seen one crash too many and do not want that happening to me

well i live in San diego so once you get outside the city there are so many places to ride Palomar mtn, Banner grade, the list goes on and on. i live on base so i dont commute but like 4 miles to work. thats to and from. Its my 3rd bike though, my gixxer k7 600 had like 15xxx on it. but i didnt ride for like a whole year because of boot camp so i had to sell it. I guess im catching up on those miles i missed. lol. and i am working on getting a set of leathers so i can start going to the tracks around here.

I was wondering the same thing since i've got 5k on my bike since march...but I do ride it to work everyday, with an occasional joyride afterwards to relax...
