A couple of quick Questions. I Have just bought a 1100k to give my '85 750 a break. 1. Can you lower these without needing a lowering link? If a link is needed has anyone done one?, and how was the bikes handling afterwards? The bike already has an Ohlins rear shock, and i will be changing rear swingarm and wheel eventually,to overcome the handling issues. Thanks for any assistance. :punk

lowering any bike :flipoff handling, unless all you do is straight line riding.

Goodaay Skotch, Welcome to the site ,as you are already aware of the 89's inherit problems, you are prob not going to go jonny roadracing till you get it sorted -you can reduce spring preload or there was an adjustable top shock mount yoshi made -iff you have access to someone with a milling machine you could get one made , i don't think different links is the go -yoshi used the adj shock mount
