Where is the proper place to mount knee pucks? On one of my sides I am grinding down one corner of the pad, should I move it so the point of contact is in the middle? If I do that they will sit funny. On the other side I am scraping it very evenly.

Move them around so you don't scrape your leather. These pucks are new and sit on the sides of my legs just below my kneecap. Not on my knees, more the top of my shin. Don't worry how it looks, leather is much more expensive to replace then plastic.

See I wish I would have bought the thicker sliders like yours. I got the Hein Gericke ones and they are the low profile type.
