Will 91-96 inverted forks off a GSXR 750 fit on an 88 GSXR 750? Will the 88 calipers work?

91-92 750 are a bolt on.
93-95 750 fit by removing the steering stops.
all 750 forks fit by using the 91-92 triples.
Brake calipers interchange.

would look much nastier.. I want to do it to my '89.

I have heard the 88's are natorious for leaky seals and was advised to switch to the 91's. Just want to see if that was true or not. For all I know the 91's could leak also.

keep in mind the 91-92 inverts are 7 lbs heavier than those on 88-90. 7 lbs on the front is still 7 lbs.
