Title is in hand and must sell so only serious buyer please…

What do you think would be a good asking price? I mean i put a lot into this bike and really don't want to see it go but since i am getting married we could defiantly use the extra cash... What do you think would be a fair asking price and a price I wouldn’t feel like i was giving this bike away?

Thanks for any input...

Beautiful bike, she looks real clean. Even with that being said, you're looking at $4000, tops. Good luck though I had that same bike and I miss her :cheers

fair asking price would be getting married. You gave her a husband, you keep the bike.

lol nah but that exhaust is SWEET. Sadly, the 7 years old trumps your insanely low miles. With way newer bikes walking off the showroom floor around 7-9k (or even within your current price point if they can strike a deal)...your price is a bit high to anyone who actually has the funds and not using every last penny to buy your bike.

I'd say 4 - 5500 or a bit lower should be your range.

Is that a full exhaust or just the pipe and can?

You make a good point in saying by getting married I am giving her a husband so I should keep the bike.

I kind of knew going into listing the bike at $6800 it would be somewhat high, but I figured lowering it to $6000 would at least get some more interest. I see what your say about getting a new one for around 7-9k but this is my baby and she runs so smooth and I just couldn't see here go at a low rate. Would you say if I listed it at $5500 i would maybe get some offers?

It is just the can and pipe...

I'd try it at 5500 and see how it goes if you're not in a rush to sell and I don't know how the buying market is in CT....kinda limiting yourself with the (pick up only) option. Have you gone into your local dealer(s) and asked what they would offer as trade-in value or to buy it used? Granted they will shoot low, but it's a good place to start so you can cut off any low ballers.

I live in VA, 30 minutes South of DC and drove to Orange County, NY and back to pick up my track bike.....just saying. You may get interest at $5500, but then they'll see the " pick up only" and not bother contacting you. Unless I'm reading that wrong and it means they can come from wherever, that you just won't meet them anywhere.

Actual Value > Sentimental Value

If your that attached keep it! Don't let the soon to be wife make you sell what you love...My wife never liked the bike...then she rode on the back. Now shes always trying to find babysitter for our daughter so she can go riding :cheers
