: Rear axle is torqued to 45 lbs. and sprocket spacer is spinning. Normal? stuntingshaggy 04-10-2011, 02:23 AM The rear axle nut is torqued down to spec and the rear wheel spacer on the sprocket side is spinning with the wheel. Is the spacer supposed to remain stationary or is it supposed to spin with the wheel? I have a feeling it's not supposed to be spinning but I need to make sure. A little bit of grease, replacement of a bent alignment plate, and the discovery of a 72.5 lbs. torque spec as opposed to a 45 lbs. torque spec, and my problem has gone away.
