last sunday i went a ride with about 40 people. to a really nice twisty road no u turn style turns or anyhting really sharp but it was really fun. it me a nd 2 friends and than a bunch of ppl that we ride with everysunday. but im not a great rider im ok but i chill at the back of the pack. but we were crusing thought the road anywhere between 75 -110 i was around 90 mph and the one of my friends was in front of me doing like 95 and my other frined just bought the bike and is learning to ride. he was back of the pack everyone told him to ride at his own pace and we will meet all the slower riders are stop point to let them catch up. but he got cought up and he trys to ride as fast as the rest of us. thought the turns and he is always in the lane with oncoming traffic and he always is having to brake in the turns and he wont listen how can i help him get better at corning or learn to ride at a slower pace any suggestions?

first off dont bring him on those type rides, bring him out yourself and ride behind him and evaluate his riding technique at his own pace, then let him follow you at that same pace and let him see what you do. also talk with him and answer any questions he has on riding etc.

once he gets a feeling on it let him join in on a smaller group ride. that way he wont get caught up in the moment and possibly get hurt http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Tell him to take the same corners at a slower speed, that way he will learn the bike better. But tell him to go a little fatser each time, but not pushing himself. Let it flow! As for breaking into the middle of the turn, hes probably coming in too hot. He should slow his entry speed. Tell him breaking in these curves can take you too high side city and throw his ass off.
