OK, new to the 1000, I have removed the rear wheel and had the new tire installed, now to get the front wheel off;
Assuming I followed the manual; why does the axle loosen a turn or so then stop?.......wont budge either direction, tighten or loosen.

nevermind, got it, just REALLY tight
