If you're looking for a first bike, though, I'd seriously recommend NOT going for the 1000... It's just too powerful...

what do you want to know about it? its basically a TL engine with 300 changes. Its got a huge bottom end/mid grunt and pull hard. very diceptively fast, my biggest complaint is the suspension needs some work. then again i ride very aggressive and this bike was designed for street riding, just like the 650. I get tons of looks everywhere i go, they aren't nearly as easy to come by as the 650. Its got about 105hp stock, but it accepts mods very well. aftermarket support is slowly coming to light. planning on a big bore kit and a head massage in the distant future. the bike is just soo fun to ride, its something you gotta take for a spin bceause its got lots of character, but yet its quite different than an I4.
