Ive been riding for two years now, went from a 86 VFR 750, to a 03 yzf600r, to a f2 CBR, and now this. I have always loved the way gsxrs drove and i think they are by far one of the cleanest looking bikes.

I picked this up for $3950, i had it delivered, so i really paid $3800 for it. Its an 06 600, jardine pipe, PC3, puig screen.

What ive done already:
Rim tape
CRG Bar end mirror
Hot bodies mirror turns
Tinted tail
Lowered about 2" in the front

Whats being delivered :
Woodcraft tapered clip ons with gel grips
Apryk shorty
Adjustable black levers

Lowered for the time being cause i like the look but ill end up doing a track day this year so itll be raised back up.

( PS, no i usually do not ride without gear on, i ordered my lid a week ago from MS, paid for overnight and it just got shipped today.)

Haha lid and gloves are coming tomorrow, jacket is being ordered Friday, gonna be my first jacket that's over $400, believe me i think gears important, its just i had to ride the bike haha. Thanks though !

I crashed my previous bike (03 SV650S) and I made sure I LENT a helmet (my old one touched down in my crash) when I went to test ride new bikes to buy...

When I first got my first bike (same SV650S), it stood in my garage for like 3 days before I rode it, because I didn't have gear... I sat on it every day when I got home... even started it... hehe... but I was too scared to ride without any gear...

Got the gear on the thursday... rode about 50km... at night... at highway speeds... went to work the next day on it... dropped it doin a slow u-turn that evening... hehehe... it happens...

I've ridden once or twice "down to the garage" with just a helmet and regular clothing on... it didn't feel good... I always ride in cowhide... from the neck to the toes (my head has a composite fibre, fibreglass covering...lol)...

one thing i have learned from picking up a dirtbike last year without owning any dirty gear is the temptation is just too much to ride. it has started me giving the advice to newbs to get gear before the bike, then you dont have to fight the temptation. nice bike dood, ride on

If your taking a cruise around town, I don't see an issue. If your going out for a run through the twisties, or heading out onto the highway then yes wear your gear.

you should wear gear even in town. doesnt take much for a cager to pull out on you and take you out regardless the speed in town you are going. this video is a guy who slipped out on a new tire on a simple corner with no gear on at low speed.

I was just "around town" when I went down due to cold tyres... 60km/h is pretty fast to fall at... I would have had major roasties if I didn't have my gear on...

Your choice to ride with or without gear... you are allowed to make stupid choices...

And obviously... the people with a little sense will be telling others to wise up and wear their gear.
