I have a 04 600 and want to install a slip on the stock one is just to quite! I have been involved with several vehicles who just do not see or hear you, even riding in the proper place in your lane, they move into your space!
I had a 88 Ninja with a Yoshi pipe and never had this problem,
but my wife ran into it "SHIT HONEY YOU DID WHAT" http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/cry.gif
Well I bought a 04 600 Love it but if I put a slip on on it like a Yoshi do I need a power commander due to the increase in air flow any replys would be helpfull. Thank you!

Maybe because it's early in the morning for me, but you post made absolutely no sense...

Maybe English isn't your first language.

Anyway, someone with more experience will probably post but the way I understand it is you don't absolutely have to have a Power Commander with just a bolt-on or slip-on pipe. I've read that it helps though.

If you were doing a full exhaust system, you'd need one for sure.

You need the power commander if you want to maximize the power you will get from the pipe. You might gain a few HP just addding the pipe, but if you want the maximum out of the pipe you need to get the PCIII. Just consider the power commander a maximizer for getting the most gains out of a stock bike or a bike with mods. That is it's fnction.

Sorry I was dropped on my head when I was younger!
Thanks for the feedback!

If more noise is all you need the slip on is fine by itself. Try it out.
