Recently I was sent a disc to upgrade my ISP software from BT to BTyahoo and ever since then certain words are highlighted and become links to different web sites. This is really annoying and I need to know how to get rid of it.

Is there a reason you need to install the software in the first place? Most ISP's will send you a disc full of useless crap. Sometimes you need some of the sofware to connect (like PPPOE software) and sometimes you don't need any of it. If you can, I'd uninstall the software and setup the connection yourself. Is it a dial-up or a broadband connection?
