Does anybody know anything about this? I have a working laptop monitor and would love to be able to hook it up to a dvd player in my truck since i'm going to be doing a lot of driving. Anybody know what is needed to do this?

Sure you could, if you have the right connections on the back of you lappy. You'll need one for video and two for sound. Most lappy's that I know don't have these connections. It would prolly be easier to buy a DVD-ROM.
