I didn't put mine on until I got it Dyno'd bone stock. I put mine on last night, it has 600 miles on it, but if I weren't going to Dyno it, I'd have had them on long ago http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'd say break it in to at least 600 before altering anything mechanical. Just take a long ride with your honey and boom...you're done.

dealer told me to wait 1000 miles before I put it on ...

If your just puttin a can on I don't see why it would matter when you put it on. I have a little less than 800 miles on my k4 and i put my bolt on yoshi today. Looks and sounds great.
