Awesome. A guy bought a 10 gram bar for $438.
Now here's the challenge: take that bar to the mall retailer of your choice and try to buy something with it. Anything. Come back in a month and try again. Then again in a year. Then again after the currency fails (which is what all this gold hysteria is predicated upon).

Dorkfish - who must be heeded at all times - boldly predicts that in none of those scenarios will he ever be able trade that little gold bar for anything.

Heck, for that matter try to get someone in the mall to buy it from you. Imagine yourself buying that bar and immediately running around the mall trying to re-sell it for the same amount of money. No freaking way, right? People would look at you like you had a third hand growing out of your forehead. "What in the world would I want with that?!!?". Why? Why can't you sell something for even $300 that you just paid $438 for? Because you personally don't have a the benefit of a massive, hysteria-generating marketing campaign.

Oh, and there's probably a reason this thing is being launched in........ Florida.
