Any one else has had trouble setting the clock on their bikes? I just got mine today put about 60 miles on her. I'm unable to get the clock set. What am I doing wrong?

Consult your manual to be sure, but if its like previous models hold both 'select' and 'set' together. When the clock blinks use 'set' to change the hour digit, then 'select' to switch to the minutes and 'set' to adjust minutes.

its pretty easy just follow the directions in the user manual

MAnual wasn't under seat when I checked after I got home last night. I called the dealer and he checked under the other 600 and the manual wasn't there also. He's ordering me one. Until then please help!

there's a clock? hahaha.. I've never even felt the need for a clock. If I'm looking at the time while in a race or in practice.. There's definetly something wrong http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

The only thing worse than the clock is the shift light. I swear I spent 20 minutes with the shift light. I wanted to adjust the rpm level, and the manual says to "push button, turn bike on"... what it REALLY should say is "HOLD button while you turn on bike"

You would think a degree in mechanical engineering would qualify me to set my shift light, but you would be wrong.

I can't remember for sure, but I think you hold down the ADJ and SEL buttons at the same time for 3-5 seconds and it should get you to the clock setup.

I didn't think the shift light was on the 04 600. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif If there is one I haven't seen it yet. Well goes to show I really need my manual!

I figure if I paid that amount of cash for something I want to know everything there is to know about it. If it says it's supposed to be there for $7600.00 Fuging better be there! Just a thought.

Shift lights allow you to know when you're approaching redline without having to take your eyes off the road to monitor your tach.

Was the question meant to be sarcastic?
