It's a little louder but I was expecting a bit more. Definately looks better than that cannon it came with.

Wow, it looks great! Give some specifics will you?

Is it the full exhaust? Just the can? Where did you get it? Does it feel any stronger? Are you going to do a Power Commander.

Just a bolt on, I have not taken it out yet. I wasn't looking for more power, this thing already has plenty for me. Sounds a lot deeper at low idle. I got it at pipecity.com, they were cheaper but only by a few dollars than part411.

Road test....when first started and waiting for warm up it sounds like it has a cam...it loaps a little. Until I drive it and it's about 180 degrees it loaps but after that it's smooth idle. This is my first bike and I'm assuming it's normal. It's definately the tone I was looking for. I noticed a lot more heads turn when I'm coming up on them which I like knowing they can hear me coming now.

Have you heard an RS-3 Yoshimura slip-on? If so, is the M4 louder?

Looks really good.

I have not heard them on the new GSXR's. Did you get a different windscreen yet Nick?

No, it's bone stock still. I'm trying to talk myself into the same can you have, but I'm worried I'll want the full system shortly after.

Take it out and report back. I'm betting at 10k rpm it'll be plenty loud.

I was wondering the same thing M4 vs. Yoshi RS3. My boy has a M4 on his R6 and it sounds pretty nice but since I hadnt seen or heard one on a gsx I ordered the Rs3 for my k4 750. It should be here in a few days, we'll see.

Aftermarket case covers are needed to go racing. The Factory Pro case cover is a nice billit piece with a replacable slider.

THe pic attached is from my 2000 750.

According to the UPS tracking...my M$ should be here in a few hours!!! http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/banana.gif http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/banana.gif

Yosh pipes sound good and go hand and hand with Gixxer's, but I am opting for the Hindle as they make great power on the gixxers and I HAVE to have a high mount.

Is there a full Hindle system for the '04 600 yet? What are street prices for them?

Road test....when first started and waiting for warm up it sounds like it has a cam...it loaps a little, not missing just a loap sound. Until I drive it and it's about 180 degrees it loaps but after that it's smooth idle. This is my first bike and I'm assuming it's normal. It's definately the tone I was looking for. Today I took it to 10,000, wow it sounds so much better than that stock one. Sounds like the race bikes you see on TV http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif . I didn't think I wound notice much extra power on a bolt on but I could definately feel it pull more.

Well IMHO I had an RS-3 on my old 600 and my boy had an M4 to me and alot others the M4 has a more deep throaty sound so if thats what you like cause I shore do you'll definitely want the M4 if not the Yosh works just as well

Do you know why? Reduced back pressure? The new auto choke? Glad to hear it's not just me.
