: Cam Chain Tensioner noisy on 04 600? 04gsxr 04-19-2004, 05:28 PM Just picked mine up and love it over the 03. So noticably different in all good ways. I've got 180 mi on her so far and noticed the CCT might be a little louder then on my 03. Check the markings. Mine was one more than the other side. the bike is sick but its lud and kinda vibrates a little between 9-11 k loud !! E_Dub 04-23-2004, 12:38 PM I love the 04 I had a 2K. I agree the bike is a bit noisy I figured that was because it is new. Glad to hear i'm not alone. Docs6xrgixxer 05-13-2004, 10:01 AM I am going to put a D&D on mine I also noticed it is noisy when it is hot but I am in California and temps are in the 90s in past weeks. If I just hear the D&D cool the noise from the cam chain is overcome by the exhaust. This bike is very smooth and quiet, except the valves or the cam chain, I hope this does not create a problem after a few miles are on it.
