Love this bike but, have too many hobbies and might be moving. I bought this bike 4 months ago from AdamsCycles with a salvage title. Of course it doesn't take much for motorcycles to be salvaged as this was merrily a parking lot low side. All damage was cosmetic with a cracked tab (where the tank mounts) which was professionally welded, stronger then factory. It passed an extensive enhanced inspection testing on every last nut and bolt and now has a reconstructed title. I put 1200 miles on this bike and I've ridden brand new Gixxers, there is no difference. This bike looks and feels new for huge savings. I purchased a complete fairing kit, headlight, stator cover, clutch pedal, lft side turn sig, and front wheel(the old wheel was straight but, had some deep scratches and I was going to powdercoat the wheels) Great bike that was great fun. Just changed all of the fluids..oil, brake, cool.

You should stop bumping this unless your price drops real low. In reality your salvaged title is still a salvage title. Even though you say it's mainly cosmetic damages people won't ever know. Any salvage title is very difficult for resale as you can already imagine. So Why would someone buy yours unless it's at a really low price. Good luck though, hope you can get the most out of it.

I understand completely.... I was skeptical but, I found a representable dealer who specializes in salvage Bikes (Addams AutoCycle in Harmony PA) I also had it inspected at SouthHills Cycle in south park pa...their enhanced inspection is extremely strict...every body fastener had to be accounted for and they measures all frame and suspension angles by laser to ensure everything was straight... Again it has a rebuilt title and is completely road legal as I've put over 1k on it since. I'm open to offers.

another side note... I purchased it for 4200 before spending the 200 for title work, 180 for enhanced inspection and all the the aforementioned parts.
