: Slight Blip in Throttle Causes bike to stall defcon55 04-18-2004, 11:37 PM Hi guys i was just wondering if any of you guys have the same issue that i am having with my new 600, where the bike seems to stall when i blip the throttle just a little bit either when im on nuetral or if i have the clutch lever down? give me your feedback i just have 340 miles on it so far if im the only one with this issue then i guess my 600 mile service is going to be worth the money coyn586 04-19-2004, 12:11 AM mine doesn't do that.. sounds like you need to check the hoses leading to the airbox paulh 04-19-2004, 10:25 AM mine doesn't do that either. however, it continues to leak oil : ( do you have an aftermarket exhaust? jeffw 04-19-2004, 11:59 AM If you bilp the throttle (to say +7k rpm) and the bike stalls...... then you have a TPS sensor problem. When you take it in and they test if for you.... it will read just fine. Should you push to have it replaced.... you will find it will fix your problem. Quite concerning that such a new bike would have this common problem (common after many miles that is). | ||
