I dont know how many of you have got a chance to ride at nite with your new whips, but the low beam is awesome. And thw way the projector light lights up the whole road.
High beam sucks but i came from a 2001 R6. Decent high beams but low beam was not compariable...

Well thats good the low beam is awesome cause I hat riding at nite with poor visibility and I'm sure the high beam prob can be fixed with an after market bulb.

I think they are pretty sweet, i like the design it projects. the low beam looks like the millenium falcon shadow, and the high beam looks like a hawk or something.

After I adjusted the height of the projector low beam I can see hella far, I love it. With the high beam also adjusted I can now see through solid objects http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Oh Yeah I was riding tonight and the visibility from the headlight is just awesome. The high beam isnt too bad, but the low beam is one of the best Ive seen in a while, and it looks hella cool

Yeah, cornering at night is a little scary because the light tilts and you can't see squat right in front of you.

Someone should take a picture of their bike at night with the light on. Then take a pic of beam it projects. That would be http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

how do you adjust the height of the low and high beam lights? I think mine are too low.

I have been really happy with my lights so far. When driving the roads without any other lighting they are amazing. I even put PIAA bulbs in my truck and they are not as nice.

I don't know, maybe I need to adjust my low beam. I haven't been impressed. High beam's not bad. I don't think it works nearly as good as my 03 R6 did. Now those lights were the tits. JMHO.... I'm also going to put in some aftermarket bulbs to try and get some "whiter" light. Any recommendations?

FL is loaded w/ blue hairs that have nothing better to do but get hopped up on their prescription pills and sit in their local VFW all day. With that being said... I ride with my highs on all the time, all about making myself visible. I'm plenty happy with the visibility, but I'm still looking into aftermarket bulbs.

I just took mine out for the first time in the night . I was very impressed with the new headlight it really shinned on the road surface much better than my old gixxer did.

I noticed the problem when turning also. The new lights they have these days are great for brightness, but they have a very defined lighted region. Almost like a laser beam. You can see a line on the pavement where it goes from very bright, to absolutley black, no bleed over. In the corners, everything is black except for off the road where you don't want to go. I would rather have a less defined lighted region and better cornering visibility.
