I am a motorcycle n00b. I have rode dirt bikes somewhat, but never a street bike. Finally after 20 years of wanting a streetbike, I said F_it! I bought a GSXR 600. I figured its a good bike to learn on. Doesnt have the balls of the bigger 1000 but still something to learn feel and acceleration on. I've had it about a month so far, 850 miles. At first I was scared, not of riding, but the idiots on the major roads. After a while I gained confidence and moved to more aggresive roads. Turns Rule!! Top speed, I like, but its a little different. The fastest I've been is 95 mph............LOL. I'm ready to go faster, but I dont want to make a n00b mistake and crash. Well, anyway, I just wanted to say Hi, and here are a few pics of the 04 GSX 600. I want to get a 1000 but they dont make it in Yellow and Black. It really doesnt matter since I paint cars for a living. I can paint the panels yellow and black with no prob, it just sucks that I have to do it.
I saw another post about the GSX 600 - 750 finding parts.
From what I understand, they changed alot of shit in 04. I cant find shit either. I found sliders, but nothing about windshields (need a clear one, for my bike cam) ( I painted my original :\ ) but there arent any see through windshilelds yet, aftermarket. Figures I had to buy a bike that doesnt have parts yet.
Anyway, we all know that bikes CAN be dangerous, and other drivers ARE dangerous, so we try to watch our ass.
