recently i have been browsing ebay in search of a sleeker exhaust for my k4, I love the small slash cut exhausts from voodoo industries and hot bodies. My question is are they so freakin loud or do any of the speakeasy baffles they speak of make them tollerable. I have a slash cut moto gp style exhaust on my 97 srad and i can barely stand to ride it anymore. If anyone has one or has been around one while running i would appreciate your feedback :punk

They literally are obnoxiously loud on a long highway ride, especially on a smaller bike that is turning higher RPM's. Buddy has one. I can't say about riding it, but riding next to him, it made me want to kick his fat disgusting bitch off the bike so he could upshift and tone it down a bit ... it was awful. And I like loud engines lol.
That said, I just got a Yosh TRS that is cut down as a shorty, about 11-12" long. Additionally, it actually has NO packing in it. It sounds decent. Is loud. But not quite slashcut loud. Sounds great under load (ie. riding), and low neutral revs. Rev it beyond 6k (which I rarely do anyways - pointless to rev a engine in neutral super high ...) and it starts getting raspy. I believe with some packing in the can, it would sound better, but be quieter. I feel its about the perfect trade off as-is.
Hope some of this helps.
