hi guys, my FI light sometimes lights up when i'm riding but goes away once i cut power to the engine. it only flashes FI and the meter that i'm reading. does anyone know what this means?
i was told that its supposed to flash FI and thn a coded no. is that true?

To get the code you have to go into "Dealer Mode."

Many have wired in a switch so that when the FI comes on they can flip the switch and get the code.

Dealer mode does tell you a lot. How about you tell us more about your bike? Have you replaced the stock exhaust recently and not take care of the wiring?

My bike is roughly 4months old.. and i haven't touched the exhaust. and i've only put in frame and engine case sliders and changed the windshield. plus i havent touched the wirings on the bike at all.

its really bothering me and the worst thing is my dealer mentioned that the light must be still on for them to get the code. is this true? is there anything i can do to get into dealer mode?
