Waddup guys,
I've been thinking about getting one of the hitch bike haulers since I just got a hard top on the F150. Does anyone have any experience with them? Are you worried that you may be dragging your bike down the road lol? Just wondering how secure it really is since we've always used the bed or trailer.
Thanks,
Pete

I'd be worried about the tongue weight on the truck. Whats the tongue weight rating on your f150? my guess is 500. Personally i wouldn't do it unless u upgrade hitch. I believe the one on my f250 is 1000 lbs :scratch or it could be 750 :dunno

Gotcha, I have a class 3 hitch btw.
Its only a 1/2 F50, but it should be able to handle it.
Have you used one before?

I have, and have carried an gsxr 1000 hanging off the back of my X5. No problems at all.

i haven't used one but woudln't hesitate using one to carry a dirt bike. I've also seen some out in the desert where you can mount two dirt bikes.
I just throw them in my bed or if i need more space i take my trailer.

I have one on my rav 4 that I use to haul my rmz around on. Works great and never had a problem.
Saw this on the road one day:
