I felt the need to post this up here to pay respect to a fellow rider. I went to school on Tuesday and my teacher said we lost a fellow student the day before. It wasn't until he said who it was and how it happened when my heart sank into my stomach. I didn't know her personally, but I did talk to her briefly about what kind of bike she rode, etc. Her name was Amanda Lehr, age 19. She rode a 2000 Honda F4. According to the news paper a Honda Accord left the westbound lane and crossed into the eastbound lane. It says she was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple blunt force trauma. Like I said, I didn't really know her, but it hit me pretty hard when I heard the news. She would be in the computer lab the same time I was. It's sad to know she'll never be there again, no matter how many times I look. RIP Amanda Lehr.
