I am changing the starter on a 99 ls400 and in order to get to the starter which is right under the freak'n intake and lower intake manifold i must take off top end but my question is the intake is ready to come out but there is something in the back that keeps it from coming off, i mean im already there the intake lift about 1 inch like if its ready to come off but something in the back is holding it. Its not a hose or cable what can it be, is there like a safety or something..?

maybe a lexus forum would have the answer, just a guess on my part or maybe a lexus service manual if all else fails use a hammer.
