I stumbled across a thread a few months back where someone re-wired their SDMS button to control the advance and reset buttons (iirc) located on the gague cluster. Is it possible to swap the housing on a k7 750 to one from a k8/k9 in order to add the mode switch without altering the throttle tube (R1 throttle mod)? It would be a great, clean way to install a map selector switch or any other switch for that matter while keeping a stock appearance.
