I guess the only question I have is why in the hell do the buck-toothed brits get the cool schemes :dunno

This has been out for quite some time too, hasn't it?

Because we here in the US are not crashing and replacing enough to warrant the import of L0's, that's why.

That paint scheme reminds me of Saved By The Bell.

I guess that's true... they're still trying to get rid of an exorbanant amount of the K9 stock...

What exactly makes it a "limited edition"? The paint scheme and slip-on?

I wish all manufacturers would put out a TRUE "Special Edition" like the Yamaha R1 LE of a few years ago that came from the factory with full Ohlins Suspension, Marchesini wheels, upgraded Slipper Clutch and a few other things.

Too many times companies will throw on a different paint scheme or some fucking stickers and then sell it as a "special edition" when there is nothing special about it.

There isn't anything special about the 675 LE either.

Nor is there anything special about the '08 ZX6R LE.

To the Starbucks crew this is all that matters and those types make up a good chunk of the market place. Can't use those fancy race parts when going over the speed bump in the parking lot showing off your bling.

Whenever I go to a bike night event it is an eye opening experience. I even had some guys rag on my bike due to the ugly woodcraft clip ons and having a long brake lever on my Brembo master, seems shorty lever are the only acceptable levers.

This has been out for quite some time too, hasn't it?

Guessing:
1: Because their money is worth more. (+ They pay like twice the price we pay)
2: We are the higher volume market so they go with what they can make the cheapest and fastest. (Reduction of decals, colors, etc)
3: We have a fear of apparent-complication and things that look expensive. (Fancy factory paint jobs)
4: What we see is what we get and we don't complain too much. If we demanded cooler paint schemes they would be forced to introduce them.
5: Americans aren't buying K9s So why bother shipping them L0s or L1s.
6: It seems to me that Americans are largely more into aesthetic customization and end up making their own paint schemes. It also seems to me that Europeans are more into performance customization and are more pleased by the aesthetics provided by the components in that area of the industry.

Just some thoughts.

Speaking of item one. I think that is why we don't get pure sex like this.

We, instead, get this.
Almost looks like it was pieced together from leftovers. :shifty

I thought you were trying to act like i was biased towards the 675's since i have one...and was only calling out the Suzuki LE.

...that is why i said there isn't anything special about the 675 LE either.

lol ya I've seen some UK dental work - that shit is horribly bad, and it's what Obama wants to do for us here with socialized healthcare... but I better not turn this into a political debate too :p

Nice, same graphics as my ol' school SRAD, though only a muffler and graphics...nothing really special. Suzuki needs to change a lil' more for their special/limited editions.

I don't get the exhaust - it doesn't match the bike firstly, secondly, I see the cat, is there another pipe running up the other side?
