zchbrwr 08-23-2010, 08:54 AM I have a 2004 gixxer 750 with a Yana Shiki slip on and K&N filter, the bike runs great but i would like more power. Im going to get a power commander and get it dyno tuned but what else are some good mods i can do myself that will make a big difference?
Upgrade 08-23-2010, 09:05 AM Change your gears, it doesn't add power, but you will feel a differances...

MotoMummy 08-23-2010, 10:46 AM After an exhaust and gearing the best way really is to just upgrade the bike to be honest.
Revzilla 08-23-2010, 10:47 AM not enough power from a 750cc machine huh.... :scratch
mine is a bullet so maybe you just aren't doing it right :dunno
bigbadpoppa 08-23-2010, 01:48 PM you mention a slip on exhaust, how about going for a full system with headers.
zchbrwr 08-23-2010, 03:15 PM not sayin it doesnt have enough....i would like more, who doesn't but i was just wondering if there were easy mods that you could bolt on and get some good results thanks for the info though
squale147 08-23-2010, 04:41 PM how about a 1k

+1 get a newer 1K If you still have complaints after that, there is no hope for you! :biggrin
Samantha750 08-23-2010, 07:42 PM If you want a big boost, go with NOS or a turbo even. Turbo will cost but the boost in power will be felt. As everyone else said, upgrade and will be the most cost effective I think.

When you say you just got this bike, does that mean this is your first bike?

rolexxx11 09-15-2010, 12:26 PM You could always add some flame decals to the side.... that works, right?

Actually I don't want more power. I'm thinking about either 600c I-4 or 1000c V-2 (like aprilia RSV1000R)...
