I am heading to go on about a 200 mile mountain road roundtrip, and i have not been on one that long. The pavement is in good shape and its full of twisties. My question today is i want to go the best traction out of my tire as possible, and i wanted to know what the best psi is to run in both front and back tires with a single rider?

*More info* Road will be around 6500-7000 ft. Mid to low 80's in temperature. I am running Dunlop Roadsmart tires front and rear.

Thanks in advance!

I always run 34 front and 34 rear with good results.

If you are aiming to hit the twisties hard I would run low to mid 30's.

Great thread.. i was going to post this also today but you beat me to it. Spoke to my friend Anthony D on here whom also suggested 34 front 36 rear.

It's unlikely that you'll heat up your tires enough to justify a pressure that low in the canyons.

Just sayin'.
