So i decided to go with a gsxr over all other bikes i found 2 i got in mind a 2009 600 for 7600 otd and also a 2007 gsxr 750 left over for 7900 otd i know the 09 model is a great deal so far that i found but is that a good price for a brand new 750 that is a 2007?

for the price the milage is perfect on the 07. hard to come by low mile bikes. all the oh nine says to me is who ever owned it rode the shit out of it to rack up the same amount of miles as the person with the oh seven. just food for thought.

Do what? They are both new bikes with no miles. A K7 750 for $7900 out the door or a K9 600 for $7600 OTD.

How much for a k8 or k9 750 for comparison? I mean it is a 3 year old bike that has just been sitting there. I would think at least the prices should be flipped so I just don't know.

I think I would rather go with a k8 since that was the last model year that got any engine updates, even if only minor. Doesn't seem like they are very motivated to sell that k7. Maybe ask in the general bike talk or the k6-7 section to get more opinions?

2007 was an awesome year for Suzuki. The 07 Gixxers are probably the finest bikes you can still find. Don't hesitate on the 07 750. I own an 08 600 (bought new) but if I was in your spot I would get 07 GSXR 750.

If you do you will probably need new tires right away, the stock ones were probably made in 06 and are dried up by now (4 years later). Plus you're getting a three year old bike and a discontinued model. With that stated I still say get the 07 750 it's the best of the two choices.

Oh and you won't need to cut the cat, any 07 slip-on will work.

I would get the 07 750 without reserve, try to talk them down to 7500 otd and you basically bought a new bike for "used" price.

Just my 2cents worth

Yup, K8 or the cat would be gone with the slip-on.

I am looking at a K6 750 with 4K miles for $5500.

Is that a good deal?

sounds like a good one to me! of course i would try for an even 5k, by finding little things that are wrong with it and bullshitting the guy.

I looked at it today and to be honest with you I couldn't find anything wrong.

Adult owned (41 year old) 1 owner
Garage kept
I could only find 1 small scratch on the seat cowl
have both an alarm and lo-jack
