Im in the process of attempting my own rattle can matte black paint job on my 04 750. Now im not sure what the color scheming will be but im thinking the fairings will be all matte black, front fender is already gloss, the nose tank and tail all gloss. Id like to see some photo's of it if anyone around here has done it. I have all the prep work done on my fairings and they are primed ready to go. It took about 2 weeks of on and off prep work. Sanding, fiberglass, and bondo. It looks pretty good though, im proud of it so far and thats the most important part. Ill try and get some photos up of my work in progress so far.

OP, thats alot of bodywork for just a respray????? i do bodywork for a living. for a resparay, all you needed to do was scuff the paint wiht 500 grit sand paper or a red scotch brite pad. blow off, wipe down with wax/grease remover. then a tack cloth. then paint.
