On the verge of selling my bike, I was wondering if anyone has fitted helibars or other 'K9 GSXR 600 specific' handlebar raisers to their bike and been satisfied with the result.

Are there any issues with the full steering lock and fairing clearances once fitted?

I just put a set of TracStar Heli's on my K7K8 1000. The dimensions & changes look very close to what you would have. I have more clearance now than I had stock. I posted about them if it helps you at all. :cheers

I'll talk to the mechanics at my local dealer and see if they've done any before and if there's any issues. If I'm going to spend $500, I don't want restrictions installed.

Just make sure you ask about the Tracstars, which are the new 1 piece model & are way nicer than the older Heli's.
