ive just bought a sprint steering damper for my 1989 gsxr fighter theres no fitting kit available but i cant see how to secure it, any ideas?

He stated it's a Sprint damper.

Oh and to The OP good luck getting an answer. II asked the same thing and still have no answer. But you'll probably get a few PMa about whether you'll sell it instead of mounting it.

correct the make is sprint, but in the sprint catalogue it doesnt have a fitting kit listed and the kid in hein gericke recogns that it just bolts on the btm yoke somewere but i cant find were,

Have a shop install it for you.

I'd suggest doing what Suzuki did for the RK in 1989. Drill a hole in the left lower frame/headstock brace and install a metric Riv-nut. Add a 43mm steering damper clamp to the left fork leg. Dozens of people make these... Then, bolt the damper between the two points and adjust it so the there is no binding between the various components and the damper doesn't bottom out in either direction.
