These days "squid" is a general term used to describe anyone you feel is doing something you wouldn't do like stretching, lowering, chroming, led lights, dragging knee on streets, not dragging knee on street, speeding, not speeding, etc.

To me a squid is anyone who rides over their experience level and/or a bike out of their experience level.

Can also mean going fast straight but almost coming to a stop or crawling in turns then wot again on the straight away.

Not wearing gear is an organ donor or dumb-ass.

Riding to look cool is a poser. Like wearing full leathers with 2" chicken strips with bald in the middle back tire.
