Hi guys,
I have the 2006 Phantom Grey and silver GSXR 1000, Was was thinking of doing a Candy Red Powder Coat on the wheels, Or do a Glossy Black again with a red stripe. As the original ones have a little stone chips here and there.
regards,
Lawrence

2006 phantom edition? never heard of that. Looks like a regular silver and black 06. would just go with the black.

red would look good. I hate the factory black wheels.

Trackbike?
neither, save the money for tires, no one will pay too close attention to the color of the wheels ;)
Choose youre colour and paint them, powder coating fuks up the ballance, the last wheels I had powder coated needed half a ton of ballance weights. (aprox) :cheers

Agree - you see track bikes with different colored wheels all the time :dunno
That being said, my team mate just got the rims of his race bike painted so each is half white, half orange - like this:

We call them the Seizure Wheels because of the strobe effect they make when turning :lmao

the powder coating on my track bike wheels is all coming off from the PO being sloppy with brake fluid :lol
