You could take in 0 calories and still live for months as long as you had water daily.Youd be a skeleton in no time soon though http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/wtf.gif

I dont understand why you would want to know the minimum need to keep you alive...because like oldgixxer says...you could live on next to no calories but youd be in a shit state.
Do you mean the minimum amount of calories needed to keep you functioning healthly?
2500 is the recommended amount for a male of average height and helathy weight. At 20 stone you will need more alot more than that just to function properly.
You need to lose some weight, but starving yourself is not the answer.

i just want to know the minimum to keep weight....not alive. I think a lot of people are on 2000 calories a day. Just curious what mine would be since i am not active. sorry if i worded it wrong....how many calories a day not to gain or loose weight....the amount of calories to maintain weight....i hope that helps http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
If your looking for just staying the same weight..
According to 1 online calorie calculater, you would need 3,437 calories to stay the same weight.. Not to familar with how accurate those things are though.. That is with light activity. Which would probably be walking to and from class perhaps..

No problem..
Also forgot to post this but that was light activity, if you did moderate activity it was around 3900 calories.. Not sure which one u would fit into..
