To all the wise once out there... My brother-in-law's oil change light just popped on and he hasn't a clue what to do to change the oil. He's coming round tomorrow for help doing this but i've never changed the oil on a scooter either.

Been googling around to try to find some info on it before he turns up (just so I have some idea of where everyting is) but can't find anything. Does anyone know where there's some info specific to this bike?

Also, and I'm hoping this is a stupid question, if no-one can find any info, is it pretty much the same as doing it on a bike? Find filter, find drain plug, remove fairing (?), undo filter & plug, drain, replace plug & filter, add oil, replace fairing?

what kind of bike......oil change light what? normally a light will come on if there is low oil, or low oil pressure if i am not mistaken, and i am normaly mistaken :frantic

Suzuki Sixteen (it's in the Thread header). I was planning on putting it in the post, but must have slipped my mind.

Yeah, first thing I told him to do was check the level but he's pretty insistent that it's not that.
