nice! http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif , since you've never ridden before i'm glad you chose an sv650 as your first. its an awesome learner bike, and after you move onto something else its an even better track bike. there are a shit ton of aftermarket parts available, so you can mod the shizzle out of it. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

You can find frame sliders all over the net…I think svrider.com even shows how to make them out of plastic…I work at a machine shop so it was easy to get a hold of the tools and aluminum. The hardest part was finding the stupid stainless steel, fine thread bolt. Yeah…I’m hoping not to mess it up on my maiden voyage or else it will end up a track bike

I love the Bike Sliders (www.bikesliders.com) I got for my SV. A little pricey, but excellent quality.

NO-NO-NO...the whole purpose of frame sliders is to SLIDE!
these will dig into the ground and you risk snapping off your motor/frame mounts.
they LOOK cool but may do more DAMAGE than good in the event of a crash.
get the delrin sliders and do yourself a favor!

Nice bike. You should take the basic MSF course, get some learning in. That way if you crash or drop it, it won't be your new baby, but a class bike that has seen the ground before.
