Hello everyone,

New to the gixxer forum. Just started riding a few months ago after I got my first bike, 05 gsxr 600. Love it!

I searched but couldn't really find anything aside from the problems with California emissions bikes.

Usually my baby is parked in a parking garage, but I ride to work sometimes and it sits outside in the blistering North Carolina heat. When i go to start it up, it will crank forever and I end up having to give it quite a bit of throttle before it will finally turn over. I never have this problem anywhere else so I am thinking that it has something to do with sitting in the extreme heat all day long?

Anyone have a similar problem or any advice?

Thanks in advance

Idle may be too low, should be at 1300 rpm.

Thanks Chewee, Checked out my idle and it is set correctly. It seems to just be something about sitting out in the sun for a few hours.

Anyone else have this problem?
