Anyone out there know if a 6" rear wheel will work on a 04 GSXR600? Will this screw up the handling characteristics? The reason I am asking is because I am considering getting a 600 and want to put my BST's from my 1000 on the 600. I know that there was no change in the wheels from the 03 600's except maybe the spacing since the new 600's have USD forks. If the wheel swap is feasable I plan on mounting some 208GP's that I already have. Hope someone here can help me with this tech. question.

anythihng is possible. just depends on how much money you have. if a 6" wheel can be put on a 1988 Gixxer then it can be done on an 04. alot of the time a 5.5 and a 6" will have same hub width just a diferent width of bead. only problems may be with sprocket/sidewall clearance and side of swing arm/sidewall clearance. if you have the hoops and tires already then try it out. best way to find out for sure.
