I found this bike that i thought was a really good deal until I went to see it.
It is a 2007 SUZUKI GSX-R 600 with 8,000 miles and he is asking $4,900.
Some things I am worried about is that it needs new tires bad, and am wondering approximately how much that is going to run me? The gas thanks also has a little dent a few inches above where your knee goes, when I asked him about it he didn't even realize that was there. The dent doesnt have any nicks or scratches and am wondering if it could be poped out even though its in an award spot. At first I was think $4,900... man that's a steal, but now I'm starting to have second thoughts to if this is worth it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

I also for got to mention in case you didn't notice, there are many stickers all over the place that I could care less about. He says the bike has never been laid down, but there are little scuffs here and there like he stuffed it in a packed garage.

Humm I didn't even notice that, I thought that was just the flow of the tank, but I do see how its a bit different from the other side. I thought the dent was on the right side only but I guessed I may have missed a spot. The more i look at the left side I'm wondering, r u sure that's a dent. Thanks tho

I noticed the funny looking bend next to the suzuki symbol on the tank, but that cover is plastic, it is not likely to bend. Just offer him 4,500 and see what he says. Just always be prepared to walk. The huge stickers on it are fugly. You can tell a lot about the maintenance on a bike by just looking at the chain. If it is not properly adjusted or really dirty or rusted, the bike was cared for by someone who doesn't know a whole lot. Anything cosmetic can be easily fixed. A poorly maintained motor cannot be.

if it doesn't feel right don't do it ...there are plenty of bikes out there

just be prepared to have to fix the owners mistakes. i put aside 2k just in case and even though i had lots of little things that i didn't have to replace i did and still came out ahead.
i would also offer 4,500 cash and he will probably take it don't go any higher though.
