Hey guys,

Anyone done a rad conversion. I plan to buy a curved rad that I have a line on, I believe it is 94-97. I want to know how simple the conversion is. I have a rr fairing on the bike and would like to increase my cooling effeciency. Let me know the particulars.

Thanks

Um, I think you mean the curved oil cooler, stock on 90-92 (US) 750's, and 89-92 1100's. A RAD would be for coolant, not oil...

In any case, I have mounted those coolers on 85 750's more than once, and on an 87 1100 I had last year. None of those had fairings though, so I cannot comment on that fitment part.

The curved oil cooler is reputed to be 33-48% more efficient than the flat ones.

Yes you are right my mistake I meant curved oil rad not cooler, so it is worth doing? I have found that the cooler is off a 90-92.
